Welcome to Goa's Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce

The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) is responsible for promotion, development and regulation of Industries within the State of Goa. It is also responsible for implementing government policies for all round development of industries in the State in co-ordination with Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board ( IPFB), Goa Industrial Development Corporation ( Goa IDC), Goa Handicraft Rural Small Scale Industrial Development Corporation ( GHRSSIDC), Khadi & Village Industries Board( KVIB), EDC Ltd , and other departments of the government. The DITC also plays a key role in facilitating and coordinating activities related to industrial development.

Goa has a thriving economy driven by the growth of major industrial sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Ship Building, Food Processing, Information Technology, etc. Goa Investment Policy put forth by the Government of Goa together with first-rate infrastructure, an organized transportation system, and skilled manpower enables private and foreign investors to make investment in Goa, thus encouraging the development of trade and business in the State

DITC is also involved with policy framing, planning, administrative framework, putting in place guidelines, and implementation of both State and Central sponsored schemes. DITC provides aid, mentoring and various support systems to entrepreneurs.
